We also realize that although many people have made other purchases on-line, acquiring a car that way may seem a bit awkward. Therefore, we thought we would share with you some of the questions commonly asked by our first time customers. 1.   How does Michael's Motor Cars find a car that matches my specifications?
Michael's Motor Cars has advanced access to the highest quality pre-owned vehicles available at auctions nationwide; the largest of which is located very close to home here in Manheim, PA. In addition, we buy from dealers and major leasing companies around the country, as well as private individuals, as needed. All vehicles are thoroughly evaluated before purchase to ensure that they meet our high quality standards.

2.   How long will it take Michael's Motor Cars to find my car?
For most orders Michael can locate, buy, recondition, and deliver your car to you within 21 business days. Special orders (e.g. a Maserati) or extremely specific requests, such as a rare color or an older model with very low mileage, may take a few weeks longer.

3.   What if Michael's Motor Cars can't find the exact car that I want?
Michael's Motor Cars will make every effort to locate the exact car you've specified. However, in the unlikely event that we cannot find the car that matches your precise specifications, we will notify you of the closest possible matches available and will allow you to decide if one of these cars meets your needs. If not, we'll refund your deposit in full.

4.   When do I need to put down a deposit and is it refundable?
After you've specified the car you want, you will need to provide a $250 deposit to initiate the search. This is not a fee; the amount will be credited towards your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with the car that we locate or deliver, your deposit is 100% refundable.

5.   What if I want to talk with someone about purchasing a car through Michael's Motor Cars?
We realize that the decision to purchase a car is an important one. While we aim to provide substantial information on our web site, we know at some point you will want to talk to a Customer Service Specialist about your particular needs. 6.   Does Michael's Motor Cars accept trade-ins?
Yes, we accept trade-ins from our customers. We will first ask you a series of questions to establish a ballpark estimate of your vehicle's value. Then Michael Rowen will conduct an on-site evaluation of your car and give you a fair and final value on your vehicle.

7.   How long is the warranty provided with my purchase?
All of Michael's Motor Cars are sold with a 30 day, 50/50 warranty with a $50 deductible.

8.   Can I get a longer warranty?
Yes, you can purchase additional extended warranties for selected models. Ask your Customer Service Specialist for more information.

9.   How do I pick up my vehicle from Michael's Motor Cars?
Once your car is ready for delivery your Customer Service Specialist will call you to schedule a convenient time for Michael to deliver your car directly to your home or office.

10.   Does Michael's Motor Cars have any inventory on hand?
Unlike traditional dealers, Michael's Motor Cars does not maintain inventory. This means we sell you the vehicle you really want rather than attempt to push you into the vehicle we need to sell. We only sell the highest quality pre-owned cars based on our customer's specifications. Michael's does maintain a small select inventory of cars for resale. These cars include clean trade-ins, dealership demonstrators, interesting and collector cars. You may see these cars on the Our Cars section of this website.

11.   What costs are included in the Michael's Motor Cars price?
We always give you our very best price upfront, which is guaranteed to be priced hundreds or thousands below the Kelly Blue Book Retail price. This price does NOT include: sales tax, title, title fees, and any applicable options and accessories that may be purchased separately.

12.   Where does Michael's Motor Cars purchase their cars?
We buy cars and trucks from the same sources that local dealers do -- major leasing companies, wholesale from other dealers, and auctions. the largest auto auction in the U. S. is located here in Lancaster County, PA. I may surprise you to learn that 50% of all leased cars are returned to the leasing companies and then are sold to dealers through commercial auctions around the country.
